solid, what's the scale? my guess it's 1:72 (the sheets of paper gave it up). definitely this is calling for more pictures, please
what references have you been using?
good luck!

Hi, solid!
The model looks nice, but the pictures are too small.
Could you describe more details of building process? How did you imitate the corrugated surfaces?
And where is the rear turett?
Thank you gentlemen for your nice words about my model...
I make "solid" wood models like the ones below but this one is made like a "kit" with cut out parts of balsa wood.
It is in 1:72 scale. The floats are a made of card with wood tops and the rigging, float holders and antenna in the wings
of Bamboo for strength. The corrugations are thin strips of card. I will take some more pictures and place them later on.
My main interest are "Solid Wood" models of Mahogany wood which cuts almost like soap and lasts for centuries!!!
some follow...
1940s USAAF B-18 " Bolo"
IL -26
SM-71
SM-81 "Pipistrello" 1937 Spain.
Thank you for your patience and have a nice evening building your models...
Congratulations for you, Solid! Your ANT-7 is very amazing and impressive piece of work. Does it have corrugated covering?
Unfortunately your IL-28 is not so well . It reminds more a cartoon than real aircraft.
And a little correction about the aircraft index. The name R-6 was used for the military version on wheels. The float military version was designated MR-6, and the civil aircraft on floats was MP-6 (МП-6 in Russian).
...you are right about the Il 28!!!! it is not so hot!!!!
The Ant 7 is made of balsa and card, the corrugation you see in top of the fuselage is made from thin slivers
of card as are the divisions on the wing. I choose materials as I go along the project. I have several Russian models
I want to make but at present I am making a SM-79 and a Ca 101.
