По просьбе своего знакомого США публикую объявление о ближайших конкурсах на форуме Track-Link's (http://www.track-link.com)
Администрация этого ресурса хочет провести ряд конкурсов в 2013 году и приглашает русских моделистов к участию в нём.

1. “Be My Valentine” (BMV)- any vehicle on a Valentine chassis - 1 February through 15 May (Valentines in British livery are also eligible for dual entry in Paul A. Owen’s British Armour Contest posted in the Build Logs (http://www.track-link.com/forums/site_blogs) forum. You only need to post in Build Logs, and I will find you, but you do need to follow the same rules for everyone else in this contest including the finish date. Soviet, Commonwealth, and captured Valentines used by the Germans are also valid builds for this contest and should be posted to Contests (http://www.track-link.com/forums/site_contests).

2. “Is That a Gun in Your Pocket?” (GYP)- emplaced (not in-tow) artillery but not FlaK or PaK - 1 June through 15 September. Any nation and any time period is valid.

3. “Pull My Finger” (PMF) - any fully-tracked tractor from UE to Voroshilovets - 1 October through 15 January 2014. Any nation and any time period is valid.

The difference with other contests is that you may start an entry for any contest or for all three immediately (today, this very instant, now) - no shelf queens. Post to the Contests forum on the initial date for the contest. This will give modelers with conflicting family and work obligations, slow building habits, and other time constraints a better opportunity to participate.

Those of you who live outside the US and Canada, I urge you to mention all T-L contests to your fellow nationals and post the contests on hobby sites in your native language so that there are more varied entries with similarly expanded modeling ideas. English is required for posting on T-L, but it does not have to be perfect. Google Translate does quite well in most cases as long as you spell your native language correctly and avoid slang and contractions.

This contest schedule will continue as long as I have the wherewithal to award prizes, and there is a reasonable number of entrants.

Short rules:
1. Join Track-Link (https://www.track-link.com/members/join).
2. Start building an appropriate kit for the contest or contests you want to enter. Your entry must include one figure and a base with a nameplate, but the model and figure do not have to be fastened to the base.
3. Announce your entry in the Contest forum (http://www.track-link.com/forums/site_contests) on the correct initial posting date for the contest: Contest abbreviation - Vehicle designation - Your name. Use English for all posts. Include a photo of the kit box top and a disguised e-mail address. My email is brummbaer2 AT triad DOT rr Dot com and you can contact me directly if necessary. I need this email to send you announcements and confirm your prize or certificate.
4. Make regular progress reports by posting a reply to your initial post. Include photos as often as possible. At least weekly is “regular” but no one will be disqualified for missing a week or two.
5. Post your finished entry to the Gallery (http://www.track-link.com/forums/site_gallery) during the week before the closing date for each contest.
6. Do not announce early or post to the Gallery late.
7. Send me your ranking of the finished entries except your own to help me determine the winners.
8. Wait to see who has won: 1st Place - $100, 2nd Place - $75, 3rd Place - $50, and making the most of a bad kit - $25, or the equivalent in the currency of your choice as long as that amount can be paid through PayPal. PDF certificates will also be awarded to everyone who completes an entry.
